Offshore law firm Harneys has named Lishi Fong as managing partner of its Singapore office and Hong Kong partner Paula Kay as its head of litigation for Asia.

The firm has also expanded its Singapore office by relocating partner Nicola Roberts and counsel Jayesh Chatlani to the city-state from Hong Kong.

Fong, who joined Harneys from Norton Rose Fulbright in March last year, succeeds James Noble, who recently moved to fellow offshore firm Carey Olsen as the head of its litigation, insolvency and restructuring practice in Asia.

Fong advises both financial institutions and corporates on cross-border transactions. She spent nearly 13 years at Norton Rose Fulbright before her move to Harneys.

Ian Mann, Asia managing partner of Harneys, said: “Lishi is an exceptional lawyer with long-standing connections and strong experience in this region. She is well respected and has contributed significantly to the growth and success of our Singapore office.”
