Clyde & Co has hired corporate and regulatory specialist Joyce Chan as a partner in its Hong Kong office from DLA Piper. 

Chan advises multinational insurance and reinsurance companies on corporate and compliance matters as well as establishment of compliance programs such as anti-money laundering, prevention of bribery, data protection and market conduct programs. She has also developed a financial regulatory practice for non-banking Fintech service providers, particularly in relation to e-payment services. 

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Chan was GC of New York Life Insurance in Hong Kong and head of legal at AXA Hong Kong. She also ran her own firm, Joyce Sze Ho Chan & Co, for close to a year.
