Eversheds has bolstered its Asian financial services disputes and investigations (FSDI) practice with the hire of Muna Dandan as a partner in Hong Kong.

Dandan, who will work closely with Eversheds’ Hong Kong FSDI partners Mark Yeadon and Vishal Melwani, joins the firm from Barclays in Dubai, where she was the bank’s Middle East legal head.

Prior to Barclays, Dandan was the deputy head of legal at real estate developer Nakheel PJSC and senior legal advisor for HSBC in the Middle East. She has also worked for Reed Smith and Baker & McKenzie.

“Muna has a unique blend of cross border in-house and private practice experience and will help us deliver on our leading multi-disciplinary approach which straddles disputes, enforcement, financial crime and consultancy and which we believe is unique to the Asian market,” said Matthew Allen, Eversheds’ global head of FSDI, in a statement.
