Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has hired corporate expert William Woo from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe as a partner in its Hong Kong office.

Woo specialises in M&A, private equity and capital markets work, having represented numerous companies on Hong Kong initial public offerings, rights issues and other investment activities.

His clients include both Chinese and international companies, that hail from a number of sectors including financial services, real estate, mining, agricultural, technology, telecoms, and renewable energy.
