Hong Kong law firm Robertsons has added corporate finance specialist Janney Chong as a partner from RPC.

Chong’s practice covers corporate finance and general commercial transactions, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions, public takeovers, compliance and regulatory matters.

Apart from acting for issuers and underwriters on HKEX listings, Chong has also advised companies listed on HKEX, the Shanghai Stock Exchange, and the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on transactional and compliance matters.

Chong joined RPC in 2017 from Sidley Austin, where she became a partner in 2012. She worked at Reed Smith earlier in her career.

Robertsons now has 37 fee-earners, including 17 partners.
