White & Case has hired capital markets expert Jessica Zhou as a local partner at its Hong Kong office from Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy.

Zhou, who was a senior associate at, Milbank, has experience in U.S. capital markets transactions as well as in representing corporate entities and international and Chinese banks. She also acts on pre-IPO investments, financial structuring, acquisition finance and high-yield bond offerings.

“White & Case has a long track record of advising clients in this region on complex, cross-border financings and Jessica’s appointment supports our strategy of strengthening the Firm’s capabilities in this area,” said Eric Berg, White & Case’s head of Asia, in a statement.
