Hogan Lovells has expanded its hired Sohail Barkatali as partner in its Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects (IERP) team in Dubai.

Barkatali specializes in project finance, focusing on power projects in electricity, oil and gas, water, waste-water and infrastructure, and has also advised on privatizations, sector restructuring and regulatory matters. He represents multilateral agencies, banks and government entities on projects across the Middle East and Africa.

Barkatali’s arrival takes the total number of partners at Hogan Lovell’s Dubai office to eight.
