Howse Williams Bowers has hired regulatory and compliance expert Jill Wong as a partner at its Hong Kong office.
Wong focuses on financial services, corporate regulatory and compliance issues, and advises clients on matters including risk management, regulatory investigations, listing rules, auditing issues, corporate governance, and competition law.
Wong joins Howse Williams Bowers from King & Wood Mallesons, where she was counsel. She was also a former deputy general counsel at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
The arrival of Wong is the latest in a string of new additions to Howse Williams Bowers’ Hong Kong office, including the hires of banking and finance partner Jonathan Silver from Norton Rose Fulbright in August, corporate finance partner Peter Bradley from Stephenson Harwood in March, and corporate partner Chia Ching Tan from Reed Smith Richards Butler in February.
