Indian law firm HSA Advocates has hired projects and disputes specialist Rajdeep Choudhury as a partner in its New Delhi office from Link Legal India Law Services, where he was an associate partner.

Choudhury has 17 years of experience advising EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) contractors, O&M (Operation and Maintenance) contractors and other project stakeholders on disputes arising in infrastructure, construction, mining and energy projects. He has appeared before dispute adjudication boards, ad-hoc arbitrations, arbitrations and courts.

Prior to his time at Link Legal, Choudhury worked with JSA and Khaitan & Co in India, and with Shearman & Sterling and Barlow Lyde & Gilbert in London.

Japan’s TMI establishes 2nd Malaysia alliance, sets up new office

Major Japanese law firm TMI Associates has entered into an alliance with Malaysian law firm SY Teo & Co, set up by Sze Yi Teo, an associate in TMI’s Singapore office. The alliance will also establish an office in Kuala Lumpur under the name of SY Teo & Co in Association with TMI Associates.
