Indian law firm Kochhar & Co has hired Richa Chaturvedi as the resident partner in its Singapore office. She was most recently a foreign lawyer at local IP boutique Yusarn Audrey.

Chaturvedi replaces Piyush Gupta, who left in May to join Incisive Law. She joined Yusarn Audrey in 2018. Prior to that, she was first at Dacheng Wong Alliance, PRC firm Dacheng Law Offices’ joint law venture in Singapore, for five years, and then at Aquinas Law Alliance, which was established after the venture ended.

With more than a decade of experience in corporate law, intellectual property rights, anti-money laundering and taxation, Chaturvedi will advise Kochhar clients intending to invest or do business in India or the Middle East.
