Dentons Rodyk, the Singapore law firm of Dentons, has appointed corporate lawyer Yi Jing Teo as a partner in its corporate practice group from investment firm Charles-Lim Capital, where she was general counsel.

Teo joined the investment firm last year after spending more than four years at Big Four law firm Rajah & Tann. She started her career at Shook Lin & Bok in 2002 and left in 2013 as a partner.

With more than 15 years of experience, Teo specialises in corporate finance, and mergers and acquisitions. She has acted on numerous IPOs as well as on equity capital market transactions such as rights issues and placements.

Teo’s appointment comes shortly after the news that Evelyn Ang, former senior partner at Dentons Rodyk, was leaving to launch EY’s local law offering in Singapore.
