Jones Day has hired veteran lawyers Mike Pollen and Kevin Murphy, both formerly of K&L Gates, as partners at its Singapore office.

Pollen, who has more than 40 years of experience in international arbitration and dispute resolution, focuses on transactions and disputes relating to complex infrastructure projects in sectors such as shipping and transportation, energy, logistics, insurance, and international trade.

Murphy, who focuses on mergers and acquisitions, project and equipment financings, and debt restructurings, has been involved in transactions across Asia, including Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand during his more than 20 years as a lawyer.
