Kirkland & Ellis has promoted corporate lawyers Henry Cheng, Benjamin James and Stephanie Lau to its partnership in Hong Kong.

As part of the firm’s Hong Kong corporate practice, Cheng, James and Lau advise clients on M&A, privatisations, financing and capital markets transactions.

The appointments in Hong Kong are part of Kirkland & Ellis’ latest string of promotions, in which 80 lawyers were admitted to the firm’s partnership across its offices in Hong Kong, London and the U.S.
