K&L Gates has added Stephen Tan as a corporate and transactional partner in Taipei from Baker & McKenzie.

With this hire, K&L Gates’ Taipei office has grown to 14 lawyers, of which 9 are partners. 

Tan has more than two decades of experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, and trade regulatory matters. He also advises clients on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, trade, and supply chain- and technology-related commercial transactions.
