K&L Gates has hired corporate lawyer Christopher Tan as counsel from Allens, as part of four new additions to the firm’s Singapore office.

Tan focuses his practice in corporate and commercial work. He has advised domestic and international clients on transactions including restructurings, amalgamations, capital reductions, and various cross border acquisitions in Mongolia, Vietnam, and the PRC.

Aside from Tan, the firm has hired corporate lawyer Mark Tan as an associate from Holman Fenwick Willan, and disputes lawyer Paras Lalwani as an associate from Drew & Napier. As reported earlier, the firm has also hired commercial disputes specialist Nick Watts as a counsel from Herbert Smith Freehills.
