K&L Gates has hired Eric Sedlak as a corporate partner in Tokyo from Jones Day, where he was of counsel. 

Sedlak’s practice covers corporate M&A, project finance, and energy, infrastructure and resources. He has also extensive experience in Southeast Asian energy and infrastructure projects, having previously practiced in Singapore and Vietnam.  

Sedlak serves as special advisor to the board of the American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Japan and co-chairs Gaiben Kyokai, the foreign lawyers association in the country.
