International firm K&L Gates has appointed former Simmons & Simmons partner Natalie Boyd as a partner in its finance practice. Boyd’s appointment is the latest in a string of hires at the firm.

Boyd advises on a variety of structured credit and debt capital markets products, as well as bank lending, regulatory, derivatives, and Islamic finance matters.

“We are delighted to have a finance and regulatory partner of Natalie’s calibre join our Dubai team, as we continue to expand the legal services we offer our sophisticated regional and international clients,” said Neal Brendel, founding partner of K&L Gates’ Dubai office.

Boyd’s arrival continues a string of additions to K&L Gates’ finance practice in 2012, which earlier welcomed Doha partner Amjad Hussain as well as new partners in Milan, Frankfurt, and Hong Kong.
