Malaysian law firm Tay & Partners has hired intellectual property specialist Kim Poh Ng as a partner in Kuala Lumpur from Christopher & Lee Ong, Rajah & Tann’s local member firm.

With more than 20 years of experience, Ng advises on contentious and non-contentious IP matters, including trademarks, industrial designs, patents, copyright, breach of confidential information, domain name disputes and franchising. He has represented clients on IP cases before the Court of Appeal and Federal Court of Malaysia.

Prior to joining Christopher & Lee Ong in 2016 as a partner, Ng worked for law firms including Shook Lin & Bok.

With Ng’s arrival, Tay now has eight partners.
