Mayer Brown JSM has hired partner Robert Woll in its global corporate & securities practice and its fund formation and investment management group in Hong Kong from local law firm Deacons.

Woll, who has experience in M&A transactions, leveraged buyouts, project finance, capital markets and representing emerging growth companies, represents financial institutions, investors and entrepreneurs in fintech ventures. 

Prior to Deacons, he worked as a partner at WilmerHale in Beijing and at Morrison & Foerster in Hong Kong. He has also worked with Skadden Arps, Morgan Stanley and Davis Polk & Wardwell.

Global law firm Morrison Foerster has announced that private equity veteran Scott Jalowayski will rejoin the firm as a partner in Singapore. Jalowayski most recently co-chaired the global private equity group at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher.
