Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy has elected project finance specialist Alexander Borisoff to its partnership in the Tokyo office.

Borisoff advises on a range of U.S. and cross border project and structured financings and investment transactions, with a focus on mining, oil and gas and power-related financings. He has also worked on M&A, private equity, restructurings, acquisition, and leverage financings.

Borisoff’s recent deals include the $3 billion Sierra Gorda Copper Project in Chile and the $5 billion Refineria de Cartagena refinery expansion project in Colombia.
