UK-headquartered Mishcon de Reya has hired five lawyers in Hong Kong from Howse Williams, including Kevin So as a partner. The quintet will join Karas, Mishcon’s associated firm in Hong Kong.

Mishcon opened its Hong office in September last year, its second in Asia. With So’s hire, Karas now has six partners.

So, who joined Howse Williams in 2019 from Davis Polk & Wardwell, focuses on high-stakes contentious trust and international succession matters, and various probate, family and mental health disputes.

Also joining Karas from Howse Williams are senior associates Geoffrey Lai and Veronica So, and associates Jamie Chan and Tricia Yu.
