Latham & Watkins has lost three of its nine Dubai-based partner to Hogan Lovells, months after closing its Doha and Abu Dhabi offices.

The three partners headed to Hogan Lovells are Charles Fuller, Andrew Tarbuck and Anthony Pallett, increasing that firm’s partner count in Dubai to 11.

An M&A specialist Fuller advises on venture capital and private equity matters in Europe, U.S. and the Middle East. Meanwhile, Tarbuck specialises in capital markets transactions, with a special focus on IPOs, equity fund raisings, debt securities and sukuk financings. And finance partner Pallett advises on banking and finance matters including real estate, infrastructure, and acquisition finance, hybrid corporate loans and structured finance.

“The addition of Charles, Andrew and Anthony significantly enhances our capabilities in Dubai and illustrates our on-going commitment to the region. This team significantly strengthens our Corporate and Finance capabilities and expands what we are able to deliver for our clients in the region.  We are thrilled that they are joining us,” said David Gibbons, the head of Hogan Lovells' global corporate practice, in a statement.

Earlier this year, Latham & Watkins closed its Doha and Abu Dhabi offices, seven years after launching in the Middle East.
