Rajah & Tann has named Rebecca Chew as deputy managing partner to oversee its Singapore operations. Chew will be supporting Patrick Ang, also a deputy managing partner and the vice chairman of Rajah & Tann’s regional management council in Asia.

Chew joined Rajah & Tann Singapore in 1992. She was appointed partner three years later, focusing on banking and commercial litigation. In 2009, she took on the role of managing human resources, in addition to being a senior litigator in the firm.

 “Rebecca is a veteran at Rajah & Tann Singapore having been with the firm for more than two decades. She knows the workings of the firm more than most and is highly esteemed for her ability to get the job done,” said Lee Eng Beng, managing partner, Rajah & Tann Singapore.
