DFDL has promoted Thida Aye, a locally qualified lawyer, to country partner for Myanmar.

Aye has more than 20 years of legal experience in Myanmar, with her practice including contracts, transportation, corporate, real estate, energy, finance, litigation, energy and telecommunications.

She joined Russin and Vecchi, which later became DFDL Myanmar, in 1997, after more than a decade in government service.

“Thida has been with us for more than sixteen years, and has been since day one one of the key individuals of our local teams,” said James Finch, a partner at DFDL. “Her tremendous and unmatched knowledge of the Burmese business environment makes an invaluable difference and brings some great value to our clients.”
