Norton Rose Fulbright has relocated banking and finance partner Keith Sandilands from London to Singapore, where he will head the firm’s Asia aviation practice.

Sandilands, who worked in the firm’s Singapore and Jakarta offices between 1991 and1999, is an asset and structured finance lawyer focusing on aviation, domestic and cross border finance, operating leasing (including tax based structures) and the sale and purchase of aircraft. He acts for airlines, finance and operating lessors, banks and equity providers.

Keith is an aviation specialist, has a strong Asian client base and has previously worked in the region,” said Jeff Smith, the Southeast Asia head of Norton Rose Fulbright, in a statement. “His focus will be to further develop our aviation practice across Asia, especially in India, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia.”

The firm’s Asian aviation finance and leasing practices include partners in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Jakarta and Sydney.
