International law firm Norton Rose has promoted senior associate Paul Mansouri to of counsel at its Abu Dhabi office as part of a global promotion spree across three of its practice groups.

Mansouri has been promoted within the firm’s banking practice – one of nine promotions in the practice area. The firm also promoted eight others within its litigation and dispute resolution practice, and six within the corporate group. Fourteen of the 23 promoted are women employees.

“Our new of counsels and special counsels come from a range of geographies and practice areas, and will play vital roles as we continue to grow the business. These promotions show the depth of talent we have across the group, coming as they do on the back of an equally strong partner and director promotions round,” said Peter Martyr, the London-based group chief executive of Norton Rose.

The recent move follows the announcement of 36 promotions to partner and director level across the firm in May this year. ALB
