Norton Rose Fulbright has added corporate, M&A and securities lawyer Isamu “Sam” Inohara as a partner in the firm’s Tokyo office from Morrison & Foerster, where he spent more than 14 years.
Inohara, who was an of counsel at MoFo, focuses on cross-border M&A. He advises Japanese and U.S.-based companies on cross-border acquisitions in sectors such as financial institutions, transportation and technology.
Earlier this year, he was part of the MoFo team that advised Mitsubishi Heavy Industries on its $550 million asset acquisition of the Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ) program from Bombardier.
Inohara’s arrival takes the number of partners at Norton Rose Fulbright’s Tokyo office to five.
