Offshore law firm Ogier has hired banking and finance specialist David Nelson as a partner in Hong Kong from Walkers, where he was a senior associate.

With more than ten years of legal experience in both London and Hong Kong, Nelson has worked on the financing of multiple leveraged buyouts in Asia, including acting for Baring Private Equity Asia on its acquisition of Vistra.

Prior joining Walkers, Nelson was a with Linklaters in Hong Kong, Devonshires in London and Allen & Overy in London and Paris.
