Christopher & Lee Ong (CLO), Rajah & Tann Asia’s Malaysia member firm, has recruited capital markets lawyers Annette Soh and Daphne Lam as partners from local outfit Azman Davidson & Co.

Soh, who joins as co-head of CLO’s capital markets practice, advises on equity capital markets, acquisitions and disposals, mergers and demergers and joint ventures. She has also counselled on a number of notable IPOs and corporate exercises over the years.

Lam focuses on IPOs, equity and debt securities offerings, as well as matters involving takeovers, mergers and acquisitions, commercial property transactions, and joint ventures.

“We are delighted to have Annette and Daphne join our team, as each brings with them their own unique capabilities and experience which, when pooled together with our existing ECM and DCM teams, will enable us to provide our clients with a full range of equity and debt capital market services,” said CLO’s managing partner, Yon See Ting, in a statement.
