RHTLaw Taylor Wessing has appointed Richard Tan as a partner in its Corporate and Securities practice in Singapore. Tan joins from Colin Ng & Partners.

With experience in corporate advisory, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border refinancing and intellectual property, Tan has advised and represented companies on a wide range of commercial transactions such as asset acquisitions, IPOs and other fund raising exercises, mergers and acquisitions, corporate advisory and compliance involving both listed and private companies.

Tan has worked on a number of capital markets and M&A transactions, including advising both Silverlake Axis Ltd and Top Global Ltd on the transfer of their listing status from the SGX Catalist to the SGX Main Board, and advising Swanmet Engineering Pte Ltd, a metal foundry company with operations in Malaysia and Singapore on its corporate restructure and its successful merger with Norcast S.a.r.l, the parent company of Norcast Wear Solutions in Canada.
