Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas has added Zubin Mehta as a partner in its banking & finance practice in Mumbai from Veritas Legal.

Mehta’s hire is SAM’s first partner-level addition since Shashwat Kumar joined the firm’s projects and project finance practice in Delhi from Link Legal India Law Services.

Mehta has more than 13 years of experience in advising and representing banks and borrowers across transactions including structured finance, acquisition finance, factoring and trade finance. He has also represented banks and financial institutions on various regulatory matters, including setting up their banking operations and helping them introduce diverse banking products in India.
