India’s third largest law firm by strength, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas has added Arjun Perikal as a partner in Bengaluru from J. Sagar Associates.

Perikal’s exit marks JSA’s second disputes departure this month. It earlier lost Mayank Mishra to IndusLaw.

Perikal has more than 17 years of experience in corporate and civil disputes, restructuring, real estate, private wealth, and healthcare contracts.

Before joining JSA, Perikal worked at M&C Partners and AZB & Partners.

Perikal is SAM’s first lateral hire this year. It recently lost three corporate partners in Delhi: Varun Sehgal and Anuj Prasad to Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, and Sunando Mukherjee to HSA Advocates.
