Senior corporate lawyer Leena Pinsler, who specialises in legal matters relating to the South Asian region, has rejoined Drew & Napier as a consultant from Rajah & Tann.

The return of Pinsler, who focuses on the areas of corporate and financial services, corporate real estate, international business transactions and tax, is expected to boost Drew’s India practice.

Pinsler joined Drew & Napier as a pupil in 1983, becoming a Drew partner in 1988. She helped establish the firm’s India desk in 1994, and later headed its Corporate and Finance Department from 1998 to 1999.

“We are very pleased that Leena is returning to Drew & Napier,” said Davinder Singh SC, Drew & Napier’s CEO, in a statement. “She is a highly regarded lawyer and a valuable addition to the team. Her expertise will help us grow our India practice where we see a wealth of opportunities.”

Drew & Napier’s India practice focuses on corporate, dispute resolution and intellectual property matters relating to India and the South Asian region.
