Magic Circle firm Clifford Chance has expanded its investigations and enforcement offering after hiring Vasu Muthyala as a partner in its litigation and dispute resolution practice team in Singapore from the Hong Kong office of Kobre & Kim.

Experienced in U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations, anti-money laundering, sanctions and securities fraud, Muthyala was most recently head of Kobre & Kim’s white-collar, corporate & individual investigations and enforcement team in Hong Kong.

Muthyala joined Kobre & Kim in 2015 from O’Melveny & Myers. Prior to that, he worked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in Chicago, and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia.

With his arrival, Clifford Chance now has 25 partners in Singapore.
