The Singapore office of Collas Crill has recruited transactional lawyer Stephen Adams from fellow offshore outfit Bedell Cristin.

With two decades’ worth of experience, Adams played a critical role in launching Bedell Cristin’s Singapore office. Previously, he established his own firm, Barker Adams, in the British Virgin Islands (BVI).

He has counseled clients on commercial cross-border matters including M&A, joint ventures, asset and project finance, investment funds, alternative investments, private equity and capital market transactions.

Adams’ appointment comes days after Collas Crill formally announced its merger plans with BVI-based offshore firm Farara Kerins.
