Forensic investigations expert Rachel Layburn has joined advisory firm FTI Consulting as a senior managing director in Singapore from WPP, where she was the group head of compliance for APAC.

The hire of Layburn comes after FTI named Jon Rowell as the sole leader of its Asia and Caribbean operations in January.

Layburn has more than 20 years of experience in China and Singapore. At FTI, she will work closely with practices such as data & analytics, export controls and financial crime compliance.

Prior to joining WPP, Layburn worked with KPMG.
