Singapore’s RHTLaw Taylor Wessing has strengthened its corporate restructuring and insolvency practice with the appointment of Zachary Scully as a partner from Australian boutique JK Lawyers & Co.

This is RHT’s third partner hire this year, the others being aviation expert Rajaram Ramiah and corporate lawyer Richard Tan Kheng Swee from Quahe Woo & Palmer and Barker Henley, respectively. The firm also lost banking specialist Gerard Ng to Eversheds Sutherland.

With over two decades of legal experience, Scully’s areas of practice include corporate restructuring and insolvency, dispute resolution and corporate commercial matters.

His prior stints have included close to three years at Singapore’s Colin Ng & Partners (now CNPLaw), a decade at Malaysia’s Chellam Wong and an in-house role at TH Heavy Engineering Berhad in Kuala Lumpur.
