David Risbridger, previously head of dispute resolution and construction in the Middle East for Dentons, has joined Simmons & Simmons as a partner in Dubai.

Risbridger, has experience working in the Middle East on projects and disputes for governments, private companies and individuals. He specialises in advising on construction and other projects and the disputes they give rise to.

“The expansion of the dispute resolution construction team in the Middle East is another example of the firm building on its key strengths in the region,” said Andrew Wingfield, head of the Middle East at Simmons & Simmons , in a statement. “We have an excellent dispute resolution and construction offering, and we are advising on major energy and infrastructure projects in the region from both a contentious and non-contentious perspective.”

Risbridger is the third partner hire in the Middle East for Simmons & Simmons this year, following the appointment of corporate partners Arnaud Depierrefeu (Doha) and Haitham Hawashin (Abu Dhabi).
