Corporate specialist Anthony Chan has joined Squire Patton Boggs as a partner in the firm’s Hong Kong office from Stephenson Harwood.

Chan specialises in mid-cap IPO work, representing both issuers and sponsors. His work also focuses on debt financing and cross-border corporate and commercial transactions.

Last year, Chan advised BOCOM International (Asia) on HPC Holdings’ HK$180 million Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing as well as advised Zioncom Holdings on its listing on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

Chan joins Squire Patton Boggs some weeks after the hire of corporate lawyer Mörk Murdock from Davis Polk in November last year.

With the appointment of Chan, Squire Patton Boggs now has 18 lawyers in Hong Kong, including nine partners.
