Thailand’s Kudun and Partners has appointed corporate lawyer Troy Schooneman as a partner and head of its international practice group.

With more than 25 years of experience, Schooneman advises on foreign direct investments, joint ventures, energy projects, mergers and acquisitions, project and corporate financings, and real estate developments. He spent close to seven years at Weerawong, Chinnavat & Partners, where he focused on investment activities of Australian, European and U.S. corporations in the Asia-Pacific region as well as on outbound transactions for Thai clients. Prior to this, he was with White & Case where he spent over 12 years.

With Schooneman joining Kudun and Partners, the firm now has nine partners and 35 associates. It recently formed a strategic alliance with Kingpound Law Firm, one of the largest law firms in Guangzhou.
