Svanberg joins from Bird & Bird, while Vu, who is a qualified IP Agent with the National Office of Intellectual Property, was previously with IP law firm Investip. Vu is experienced in handling patent and design prosecution matters in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar.

“We’re delighted to add Annika and Yen to our team,” said Thomas J. Treutler, partner and managing director of the firm’s Vietnam offices, in a statement. “With Annika, we add a lawyer with significant foreign experience at one of the world’s top IP firms, and Yen gives us another science-savvy, client-focused patent executive with experience throughout Southeast Asia.”
