Singapore’s TSMP Law Corporation has hired Anand Nalachandran as a director from local firm Braddell Brothers, and also promoted counsel Yvonne Lee to the same position.

Nalachandran and Lee will form part of the firm’s Financial & Technology Crimes and Investigations desk, where they will work closely with Thio Shen Yi SC.

“The post global financial crisis world has widened regulatory frameworks. With the increased number of global investigations in financial markets, we expect there to be more incidents of corporate and financial crime, of higher values and greater complexities,” the firm said in an emailed release. “Our two new Directors will add to the breadth and depth of TSMP's experience in this field. Some of our notable cases include advising a bulge bracket bank on the rate-fixing scandal, and an internal inquiry for an international oil company on insider trading laws.”
