White & Case has moved Paris arbitration partner Matthew Secomb to its Singapore office.

Secomb focuses his practice on international commercial arbitration, with an emphasis on business disputes in the construction and energy sectors. Prior to joining White & Case in 2006, he worked as counsel at the ICC International Court of Arbitration.

“His experience supporting clients in the construction and energy industries, coupled with his strong skills as an advocate and as an arbitrator, make him an invaluable addition to our practice,” said Aloke Ray, head of White & Case’s international arbitration practice in Asia, in a statement.

Secomb’s relocation comes on the heels of the firm’s expansion in Asia where the firm opened its Seoul office last month and added local partner Jonathan Bowden to its ranks in Singapore.
