White & Case has added private equity specialist Dongho Lee as a partner in Seoul from Herbert Smith Freehills (HSF), where he was managing partner and head of the corporate practice.

This is White & Case’s second corporate partner in Seoul in the last six month, after adding M&A lawyer Won Sun Jung in November last year.

Lee advises on cross-border M&A transactions, investments, strategic alliances and joint ventures. He recently advised on Tencent’s $85 million investment in the Korean media company YG Entertainment.

Prior to HSF, Lee worked at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe and Paul Hastings. With his addition, White & Case now has four partners in Seoul.
