Withers has continued growing its real estate practice in Tokyo with the hire of partner Toshi Tsuchiya and his team from Orrick.

Tsuchiya advises on real estate investment, as well as acquisitions and development projects.

In October 2018, Withers added three real estate partners in Tokyo: Gerald Fujii joined from White & Case, while Naoki Ueyama joined from Masuda & Partners, and Steven Wheeler joined from Kaynex.
