Withers KhattarWong, the Singapore office of Withers, has hired a team of three private funds lawyers led by partner Daniel Yong from Morgan Lewis Stamford.

Yong’s hire continues Withers’ push to increase its strength in the funds space in Asia. Last October, it hired a total of six new real estate and investment funds partners in Tokyo and Hong Kong from White & Case, Deloitte and others.

Yong advises private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds, family offices and corporate clients on a range of areas, from regulatory and licensing issues affecting fund managers to fund formation, as well as cross-border M&A and private equity investment transactions in the Asia-Pacific region, including India and China.
