Zhong Lun Law Firm has recruited corporate specialist Alan Xu as a partner at its Hong Kong office from Simmons & Simmons.
Admitted to practice law in China and New York, Xu advises clients on cross-border M&A, joint ventures and other forms of investment. He also had stints at K&L Gates and Clifford Chance in Hong Kong prior to joining Simmons & Simmons.
Clifford Chance and Jingtian & Gongcheng are advising China Resources Beverages, the beverage division of the state-owned China Resources Enterprise, on its upcoming Hong Kong IPO, which is expected to raise up to $1 billion. Paul Hastings and Zhong Lun Law Firm are acting for the joint sponsors.
