ZICOlaw has hired Samuel P. Britton as its Myanmar managing partner in Yangon from Sciaroni & Associates, where he was a regional legal manager.

Britton’s experience includes advising on transactions involving intellectual property, cross-border financing, stock acquisitions, security agreements, securities regulation, joint ventures, as well as negotiation and analysis.  He has also advised on projects covering aspects and areas of financing, corporate commercial, taxation, infrastructure, as well as real estate transactions.

After joining Baker & McKenzie in Bangkok in 1995, Britton established his own boutique law firm in 1998. He joined Sciaroni & Associates Myanmar in 2013.  He has worked in Thailand, Cambodia, Hong Kong, China and Dubai during his career.

Britton will be supported by Saw Yu Win as senior advisor and partner in the Myanmar office, which is also supported by Malaysia-based partner Khoo Yu Lin.
