The 14th annual ALB China Law Awards 2017 will be held on April 20, 2017 in Beijing and it will recognise the excellence and outstanding achievements of China's leading law firms and in-house legal teams as well as the top deals and dealmakers of the past year.

From June 2002 to July 2008, Professor Wang served as the dean of the Law School, Tsinghua University. From 2008 to 2015, he was the Chairman of the Academic Degrees Subcommittee of the Law School. His main research areas are: jurisprudence, health law, sociology of law, comparative law and so on. In recent years he has been in charge of several important research projects commissioned by the State Food and Drug Administration, the National Health and Family Planning Commission and other departments, as well as a number of international cooperation projects (such as research on legislation on non-profit organizations, drug regulatory system innovation research, health law research, etc.), gaining fruitful achievements. He has published more than 40 papers in the core journals of law, CSSCI cited more than 250 times. Professor Wang is currently the head of the Research Project of China Drug Administration Law Reform, member of the State Basic Medical and Health Law Drafting Group, legal adviser of the State Food and Drug Administration and the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, vice president of China Law Society Jurisprudence Research Association, vice president of the China Health Law Society, and vice president of China Law Education Research Association.
