Dr. Oliver Massmann, Partner, Duane Morris Vietnam LLC
PhD with Major in International Business Law from the European Global School in Paris. Dr. Massmann has over 20 years experience working as commercial lawyer in Vietnam. Dr. Massmann practices in the area of corporate international taxation and on power/water projects, matters related to oil and gas companies and telecoms, privatization and equitization, mergers and acquisitions, and general commercial matters for multinational clients in relation to investment and doing business in Vietnam. He has been awarded "Leading Lawyer" in Mergers and Acquisitions in Vietnam by LEGAL 500 for the last four years in a row.
Dr. Massmann is the only foreign lawyer as Member to the Supervisory Board of PetroVietnam Insurance Corporation, Vietnam's largest industrial insurer. Dr. Massmann is currently working on several investment projects as well as taxation matters and advising the Ministry of Electrical Power on building the power generation infrastructure in Myanmar. The National Assembly of Vietnam invited Dr. Oliver Massmann to present on the Impact of the Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement on Vietnam, June 2016. Dr. Oliver Massmann is the first foreigner ever to present in Vietnamese language to Members of the National Assembly of Vietnam.
Dr. Massmann is registered Arbitrator of the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (The VIAC). He is the only foreign lawyer in Vietnam who is presenting to the National Assembly of Vietnam in Vietnamese language and teaching International law in Vietnamese language at the Ministry of Justice in Hanoi. Dr. Massmann is holding a German Judge Degree. He has worked as arbitrator in International Arbitration and Mediation centers in Asia and Europe during the last 20 years. Dr. Massmann has represented many client in arbitration proceedings and Disputes in these Arbitration centers. Dr. Massmann is a 1994 graduate of Bochum Law University, first state exam and Ministry of Justice, Duesseldorf Germany, second state exam 1997. He is holding a LLM degree in international taxation from St. Thomas University Florida- United State of America. He is certified as International Financial Accountant and Auditor by College of Birmingham. He is admitted to the Bar Association in Berlin and a licensed foreign lawyer in Vietnam.
Enrique V. Dela Cruz, Jr, Senior Partner, DivinaLaw
Atty. Enrique dela Cruz is the youngest Senior Partner in DivinaLaw. He has extensive experience spanning almost seventeen (17) years in international and domestic arbitration dealing with commercial and construction disputes, civil, criminal and intra-corporate litigation, local government and local taxation, government contracts and regulations, election law, and data privacy.
Prior to joining DivinaLaw, Atty. dela Cruz was a Senior Partner and Managing Partner at the Ponce Enrile Reyes & Manalastas Law Office. He is also concurrently serving as a Board Member in the Province of Bulacan.
He was also recently appointed to the Integrated Bar of the Philippines International Law and International Affairs Committee.
Atty. dela Cruz holds a Master of Laws degree, with a major in International and Comparative Business Law (with Distinction) from the London Metropolitan University in the UK, as a Chevening scholar. He also obtained a Masters Degree in International Trade Law at the University College London, likewise as a Chevening scholar. He also has a Masters in Public Management from the Ateneo School of Government. He received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Civil Law.
Atty. dela Cruz is a member of the London Court of International Arbitration. He is also the National Secretary of the National Movement of Young Legislators of the Philippines (NMYL).

Ho How Wai, Vice President, Group Legal & Corporate Secretariat, Ascendas-Singbridge
How Wai joined Ascendas in 2008 and advised on real estate transactions in Southeast Asia and Australia for private real estate funds. From 2013 to 2017, he headed the compliance team and implemented the legal and regulatory compliance framework for the Ascendas-Singbridge group of companies as well as the listed Ascendas Hospitality and India Trusts. He now advises on cross border real estate transactions, anti-trust, information technology and privacy related matters within the organization.
How Wai graduated in 1994 from the National University of Singapore with an LL.B (Hons) degree. He was in private practice in Singapore, Bangkok (from 2000 to 2005) and Dubai (from 2006 to 2008) prior to joining Ascendas, and had advised on general litigation matters, foreign investment transactions and merger and acquisitions.

April Raimundo, Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, EFA Group
April is Chief Legal and Compliance Officer of EFA Group and is responsible for all legal matters including business and investment structuring, corporate and fund set up and other legal issues across all countries where EFA does business including Singapore, Hong Kong, UAE, Switzerland, UK, Romania, and Turkey. April oversees legal support in all areas of transaction management for capital finance, structured and trade commodity finance and provides support on restructuring and litigation for financing across Asia, Europe and the Middle East. She was the first legal counsel of EFA in 2011 and set up the legal and compliance platform of EFA through an accelerated growth period. She was named one of five in-house lawyers in the 2016 edition of ALBs 40 under 40 legal minds in Asia and her team was shortlisted as banking and financial services in house team of the year in the ALB SEA Law Awards 2016, 2017 and 2018.
April is a dual qualified lawyer being admitted to the bar in the Philippines and a solicitor in England and Wales. Prior to joining EFA Group, April was an Associate at Baker & McKenzie International. Her legal practice focused on various aspects of corporate and commercial work including mergers and acquisitions, contract drafting and review, doing business concerns, due diligence, outsourcing, special registrations and structuring of investments. Her industry concentrations included environment and natural resources, real estate, outsourcing and retail trade.
